Democracy is the false religion of the 21st century:
Democracy is the new false religion of the 21st century that violates the sanctity of Almighty God; it makes partners with Almighty God by giving His exclusive right of legislation to weak and limited men and women. This dismantles the Oneness of God by sharing His divine qualities with human beings, and consequently democracy is a polytheistic religion.
Democracy does not consider the existence of God or His command in society as important and thus atheism has a very popular following; it permits the worship of idols, trees and even animals as long as this worship does not conflict with the orders of its supreme commander, also known as the Prime Minister or President.
Democracy violates the honour of a woman:
Democracy does little to protect the honour of women in society. It actively degrades them as business tools and sex objects. Equal rights and freedom are oft quoted phrases used to justify this demeaning lifestyle, which unfortunately leads to devastating consequences such as rape and sexual assault.
According to the British Crime Survey (2000) about 1 in 20 women said that they had been raped since the age of 16.
Democracy destroys life:
Life under democracy holds very little value, particularly for those caught in unjust wars launched to serve national interests. Human Rights acts also tend to be superficial and furthermore do not recognise the rights of the unborn child.
It is documented that US led forces in Afghanistan and Iraq have killed well over 840,000 civilians since 2001; in the UK over 180,000 abortions are performed on women every single year.
Democracy increases poverty and corruption:
Democracy does not distinguish between valid and invalid wealth and as a result permits the trade of things such as alcohol, insurance, and usury (interest). This corrupts the society and moreover increases the divide between the rich and poor.
According to Oxfam, 13.2 million people in the UK currently live in poverty.
Democracy pollutes the mind:
The minds of individuals living under democracy are moulded to have a secular outlook on life; this leads to confusion about ones purpose in life which in turn leads to depression and suicide.
The Samaritans estimate that in the UK there is a suicide every 82 minutes.
Islam is a divine way of life sent to the whole of mankind:
Islam comes from the (Arabic) root word istislaam, which in English means submission. It was revealed from Almighty God via angel Jibreel (Gabriel) to the Final Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him), over 1400 years ago. It calls mankind to submit to their Creator, by recognising Him as the only true God; this necessitates obeying His commands as well as distancing oneself from false religions and customs. It is a complete way of life that truly preserves the Oneness of God, by not only affirming Him as the Creator but also singling out His Names, Attributes and Functions as belonging exclusively to Him.
Islam protects the honour of women:
Islam preserves the honour of women by ensuring their chastity is guarded. Their position in society is seen as pivotal to its success due to their essential role as mothers; they are not exploited as business tools or sex objects; women have also played a crucial role in Islamic history as teachers, judges and doctors.
According to The Times newspaper (2007), in the United States, women converts (to Islam) outnumber men by four to one.
Islam preserves life:
Islam protects life by prohibiting that which will unlawfully harm it; it also uniquely recognises the rights of the foetus (unborn child).
Allah (SWT) says in the Qur'an, [EMQ 6: 151] “Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We shall provide for you as well as them.”
Islam solves poverty and eradicates corruption:
Islam details over 55 prohibited trade transactions ensuring all acquired wealth is valid. It also reduces the poverty gap by obliging the distribution of wealth and prohibiting its amassing. Islam maintains a perfect balance between private and public ownership.
Allah (SWT) says in the Qur'an [EMQ 4:29] “Do not let there be invalid transactions among you but rather trade that leads to satisfaction.”
Islam purifies the mind:
Islam provides real peace and tranquillity to the heart of an individual by providing a comprehensive guideline to life as well as answering the very purpose of our existence, which is to follow, worship and obey none except the One who created us, Allah.
Allah (SWT) says in the Qur'an [EMQ 51:56], “I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.”
